Mission Loans is seeking experienced mortgage professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment without losing focus on quality of work and delivering an exceptional customer experience.  As a Quality Specialist/Analyst, your primary mission is to effectively escalate and communicate issues across multiple levels of the organization, providing accurate and reliable information for key decision makers. Provide recommendation for issues identified. Detect and prevent fraud through in-depth analysis. Conduct analysis to understand the root cause and identify early warning of problem areas to avoid unnecessary risk or expense. Report, escalate and produce findings on the process quality and compliance of the functional area. Demonstrate an understanding of Mortgage Operations and understand the impact of changes across the areas.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execute loan level quality assurance audits
  • Exhibit a keen attention to detail and the ability to quickly comprehend information
  • Work in a deadline driven environment
  • Work with Quality Assurance Team to develop solutions and implement changes and manage risks

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: quality assurance, financial services administration, loan documentation, loan servicing, or underwritingregulatory updates
  • Compliance and credit-underwriting experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of underwriting policies and procedures, investor guidelines, and regulatory updates
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
