Mission Loans is seeking mortgage professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment without losing focus on quality of work and delivering an exceptional customer experience. As a Disclosure Specialist, your primary mission is to timely generate and deliver loan disclosures triggered throughout the loan origination and fulfillment process.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for timely generation and delivery of loan disclosures triggered throughout the loan origination and fulfillment process
  • Monitor and manage disclosure pipeline queues (i.e. initial disclosures, re-disclosures) to ensure timely, accurate disclosure of the loan files in accordance with compliance rules
  • Timely prepare, validate and deliver initial disclosures and loan estimates for incomplete loan applications, as applicable and in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines
  • Update information due to change in circumstances and timely prepare, validate and deliver revised loan estimates, interim and/or re-disclosures, as applicable in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines
  • Operate with a goal to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations
  • Operate in a manner that promotes loan quality and compliance with lending laws
  • Maintain productivity and quality performance at or above required goals
  • Perform other duties and projects, as assigned by management

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1 year previous experience in mortgage industry or customer service related role, preferred but not required (we will train anyone with the right winning attitude!)
  • Ability to read and interpret the 1003, initial disclosures/loan estimate and assess change in circumstances that trigger re-disclosure
  • Knowledge in the following loan programs/products: conventional, FHA, VA, refinance and purchase
  • Knowledge and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations applicable to loan fulfillment
  • Thorough understanding of agency & investor underwriting guidelines, policies and procedures
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with Empower, a plus
